For a project starting from 21/4 untill 30/9/2025 we're looking for a Medical Advisor with a first experience who supports and collaborates the Medical TA teams and especially the MIC & Establish Brands Lead in providing high quality unsolicited scientific, medical, pharmaceutical and technical support to all internal and external inquiring customers, whilst delivering operational excellence in project management and transactional support. The incumbent is responsible for the medical governance and audit readiness in close collaboration with the medical compliance manager. In addition, is monitoringand managing MAP requests for free drug provision.
Collaboration & Processes Improvement
- Assists the medical teams in providing a high-quality Scientific Service that delivers medical, pharmaceutical and technical support to both internal and external customers through inbox management
- Explores ways to improve internal processes to increase efficiency
- Effectively helps drive external engagement by working closely with the internal medical stakeholders to direct enquiries appropriately to the field
- Ensures the MI processes are robust, and business aligned across different activities and platforms
- Participates in cross-functional activities and initiatives and provides feedback, input and support, where applicable
- Coordinates and manages the Local response document and trackers ensuring they are always up to date
- Effectively advises and triages relevant workload to our third-party vendor, always seeking ways to improve the MI service
Operational Excellence
- Coordinates, organizes, manages, and tracks key activities/databases/orders of the Medical Information department
- Identifies, processes and reports adverse drug events and/or Product Quality Complaints to relevant departments within specified timelines
- Meets and explores ways to improve departmental KPI’s and is inspection ready
- Acts as the site administrator/ super user for the validated databases and ensures the systems’ data integrity, in full compliance with Novartis’ SOPs and local WPs
- Responsible for medical governance and audit readiness
- Works with team on keeping up-to-date working procedures and internal guidelines
- Monitors and manages MAP requests
- Provides access, technical training, support and assistance to internal Medical users on internal databases
- Identifies ways to optimize processes and reduce / re-allocate low value high volume work
- Ensure the team is driving digital innovation and optimizing our data systems
