Business Partner Lead North-East (Antwerpen-Limburg)

Job description

The Business Partner Lead is responsible (directly or indirectly) for achieving sales- and market share targets through the creation of a strategy & the promotion of a selection of products to pharmacies, pharmacy groups and key accounts for a given territory (either East & West Flanders or Antwerp & Limburg). Together with the Regional Sales Manager, responsible for developing an effective sales team through training and coaching. Support the Regional Sales Manager in project management & implementation.


Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Territory Management (50%)

  • Accountable for achieving agreed sales, productivity and performance targets within agreed budgets and timescales
  • Execute the Region- or Sector Management Plan made to meet sales target
  • Ensure effective calls to pharmacies, pharmacy groups and key accounts as per targets
  • Develop effective business relationships with customers that support delivery of business results
  • Initiate or support customer centric programs as part of sales and marketing initiatives
  • Constantly develop own expertise in competitive selling and negotiation
  • Use functional knowledge of the client, the Gx marketplace, and customer markets to meet/exceed customer needs.
  • Report accurately as per requirement
  • Follow all adverse events guidelines, and Code of Conduct Guidelines as promoted by the client

Team coaching and support Regional Sales Manager (50%)

  • Drive achievement of KPIs and targets through training, coaching and development of team members
  • Motivate the team towards objectives, promote high performance with a positive style and encourage best practice sharing
  • Help Business Partners to grow their business and/or status in the community; work closely with them and support them
  • Meet regularly with the team providing feedback & guidance
  • Identify and implement business-building opportunities to support volume and market share growth, collaborate with (Senior) Hybrid reps 
  • Facilitate & lead the role out of new initiatives or projects across the team and ensure adoption, working with different functions (Marketing – Commercial Operations - ….)
  • Keep abreast of the latest commercial- and scientific developments in the area; stay updated on product knowledge, market pricing, competitor pricing etc. to recommend the Regional Sales Manager, Brand team, Market Access Team and other cross-functional teams
  • Act as a Digital Advocate: proactively share recommendations and encourage others

KPI’s include:

  • Achievement of gross- & net sales targets for own customers & in targeted area
  • Achieve Market Share and Market Share Growth in the targeted area
  • Field force efficiency
  • Product launch Success Rate
  • Achieve Coaching objectives for the assigned team
  • Projects implementation

Profile

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in Dutch or French, and English
  • Good understanding of Gx market & - dynamics
  • Pharmacy environment experience
  • Good coaching skills
  • Minimum of business acumen
