Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for an Indirect Cost Controller (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Zaventem.

Job description
As Indirect Cost Controller (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:
- Analyze each month all indirect costs and investigate the difference(s) vs Budget and Last Year;
- Provide each month a clear view of the indirect costs to the Finance team and the Executive Leaders;
- Develop and maintain collaborative and trustful relationship with all budget owners and Executive Leaders;
- Be the financial business partner for the costs of the IT, Human Resources, Finance, Real Estate and Marketing departments;
- Review & monitoring of global people cost (+/-450 FTE);
- Review and publish headcount reporting (based on information received from HR);
- Plan monthly meetings with budget owners to discuss & analyze the figures;
- Be involved in the yearly budget process;
- Help budget owners to monitor and reduce their costs;
- Work in close collaboration with the indirect procurement team and accounting team to make sure costs are recorded with correct classification and in the correct period;
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to implement or improve any policies or processes related to the indirect costs accounting, monitoring and reporting;
- Support Regional Finance Managers in validation of Indirect Purchase Orders creation and approval;
- Control business requests for Capital Expenditure and make sure approval levels are respected as defined;
- Support annual external audit activities;
- Collaborate with other finance team members when required to review financial information and budgets.
Profile
The required profile for the Indirect Cost Controller (m/f/x) position:
- Master's degree in economics, Finance or equivalent by experience;
- Ideally 5 to 7 years Controlling experience;
- Ability to work in fast paced environment; needs to be able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines;
- Action oriented; needs to be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes;
- Able to manage internal client relationship & team player;
- Able to thrive in hands-on changing environment;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. English is a must have;
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications;
- Experience working with ERP's/Power BI experience is a plus;
- Proficient in MS office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
