About our client for this project:

Our client is the new link in the Antwerp digital port infrastructure. Together with Port of Antwerp-Bruges and the port community, they are building new digital systems that make their port safer and more efficient. This collaboration contributes to the digital transformation of the logistical processes within the port. A recent achievement is the Certified Pick-Up (CPu), a data platform that manages the release of import containers based on encrypted identification and authorization data. This makes the entire release process smoother, safer, and more transparent.

USG Professionals is looking for an Azure Site Reliability Engineer for our client in the Antwerp region.

Your challenge:

• You are responsible for the daily maintenance of our Azure cloud security infrastructure, as well as the Workplace environment.
• You proactively contribute to improving IT security and work closely with the CISO.
• You advise and collaborate with the development team to further enhance our Azure security infrastructure.
• You make the most of the Azure cloud security infrastructure and know how to use it efficiently.
• You have the necessary DevOps knowledge and assist with the execution of releases, with a focus on security.
• You are willing to improve and update our documentation.
• You are open to participating in a 3-weekly on-call duty rotation.
• You work in a hybrid environment, with 2 days per week onsite (Antwerp) and the remaining days remote from home.

Your profile:

• You hold a degree in IT (Bachelor or Master) or have equivalent experience.
• You have several years of experience and in-depth knowledge of IT Azure Cloud Security Infrastructure.
• Conditional Access & PIM are familiar to you.
• You are comfortable with common technologies such as SSL, TCP/IP, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Additionally, you have knowledge of automation and scripting languages (including Terraform) and network administration.

Advantages:

• Experience with or willingness to acquire the necessary knowledge of MS Sentinel for security monitoring.
