USG Professionals is looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in Dataiku platform for our client in Brussels region. This can be either as a USG Project Consultant or on a freelance basis!

Your role is to support building a strong P&I reporting portfolio and contribute to enhanced customer experience. Temporary development support is required, including the following main activities: 

P&I PREDICTIVE REPORTING USE CASES DEVELOPMENT: 
Key Deliverables:

• Capture customer needs in terms of advanced analytics and support with building the use-cases
• Maintain strong connection with key TME stakeholders (IT&D Data & Analytics team, Data Governance team, Data Ops team, Legal & Compliance) to ensure compliance and proper documentation of the ML/AI use-cases
• Develop the projects in Dataiku
• Visualise the outcome of the projects in PowerBi; where necessary – integrate the findings in the existing reporting portfolio
• Support P&I with knowledge and best-practice sharing on design of advance analytics use-cases

DATA PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Key deliverables:

• Design reports / dashboards / reporting solutions POC based on customers requirement.
• Support user testing and refinement cycles for POC up to the sign-off.
• Prepare Data Products based on the POC approved by the customers and share the necessary data with Data Engineer and Data Steward.
• If needed, update initial requirements document after the development cycle has been completed.
• Support post-release maintenance of the Data Products.

• Advanced Analytics: Ability to capture customer needs and support in building predictive reporting use cases.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience in maintaining strong connections with key stakeholders (IT&D Data & Analytics, Data Governance, Data Ops, Legal & Compliance) to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
• Dataiku Expertise: Strong experience in developing projects using Dataiku.
• Power BI: Proficiency in visualizing outcomes of projects in Power BI and integrating findings into the existing reporting portfolio.
• Best Practices in Analytics: Ability to share knowledge and best practices for designing advanced analytics use cases.
• Data Product Development: Experience in designing reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions (POC) based on customer requirements.
• User Testing & Refinement: Ability to support user testing and refinement cycles of POCs.
• Data Product Preparation: Experience in preparing Data Products based on customer-approved POCs and sharing data with Data Engineers and Data Stewards.
• Requirement Documentation: Ability to update initial requirements documentation after completing the development cycle.
• Post-Release Maintenance: Knowledge in supporting post-release maintenance of Data Products.
• Data Governance: Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices in analytics and reporting.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment, supporting iterative development and delivery.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in cross-functional teams.
