As a Mechanical Solutions Expert, you will be an integral member of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and optimizing the mechanical integrity of our client's fleet. You will focus on one of the following areas: Gearboxes, Propulsion, or other supporting systems. This role provides an exciting opportunity to tackle diverse technical challenges associated with advanced vessels and machinery.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Offer technical support and expertise in one of the specialized areas (e.g., Gearboxes, Propulsion, or other ancillary systems)
• Contribute to the creation and execution of maintenance strategies to improve operational efficiency
• Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical issues within your domain
• Support engineering projects aimed at innovation, sustainability, and efficiency enhancements
• Collaborate with suppliers, classification societies, and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to industry standards

What do you need to fulfil this role?

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Preferably 3 years of relevant technical engineering experience; maritime industry experience is advantageous
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a practical approach
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Willingness to occasionally travel to fleet locations or project sites (approximately 20% of the time)
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written
