German Credit Controller
Job description
- Ensure timely collection of invoices, monitor customer credit risk, and manage orders based on credit exposure and payment behavior.
- Escalate and resolve deductions, negotiate payment plans, and follow up on remittance advices to support cash application.
- Promote automation, track overdue invoices, and communicate proactively with Sales on order blocks and payment concerns.
- Rigorously follow the credit policy, address issues early, and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
Profile
A successful German Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in German and English language.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with relevant software (e.g. SAP).
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles, data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
