(Senior) Credit Analyst.

Job description

In this role, you will:

Analyze customer creditworthiness by reviewing financial data, credit agency reports, and industry trends, while supporting risk evaluation for deal structures.
Conduct customer visits alongside Sales colleagues to solidify client relationships and refine credit assessments.
Ensure risk assessments align with internal policies, including Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and sanction list checks.
Input and manage credit decisions and collateral details in the company's risk IT system.
Monitor customer creditworthiness, vendor guarantee facilities, and overall portfolio quality to mitigate risk.
Follow up on potential bad debt situations and provide comprehensive portfolio reviews.
Generate clear, timely, and detailed risk reports for internal stakeholders.

Profile

To thrive in this position, you possess:

A bachelor's or master's degree in an economic or financial field.
5 to 10 years of experience in credit analysis within a financial institution, bank, or leasing company.
Strong analytical skills, including interpreting financial statements and structuring data.
Accuracy in written communication and a proactive approach to gathering information.
The ability to work autonomously while thriving in a team environment.
Fluency in Dutch and English, with proficiency in German or French being advantageous.
A comfort level with IT tools and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
