Freight Forwarder - International Logistics Leader
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage transportation requests and coordinate shipments.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers to optimize costs.
- Source new clients as well as new business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers to ensure smooth operations.
- Track shipments and provide customers with timely updates on their status.
- Resolve transport-related issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvements in processes.
Profile
What Makes You a Great Fit?
- Passion for logistics with a customer mindset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a freight forwarder or similar role, especially in full/partial loads and the French market.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch, French and English
- Strong experience in LTL and FTL
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the will to grow and seek success
- Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive team player eager to learn and grow.
