Finance Manager - Food Services Division
Job description
Your key responsibilities will include:
Strategic Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budget process by setting ambitious financial targets and measuring performance through rolling forecasts.
- Provide monthly and yearly forecasts, ensuring the division remains on track to meet financial goals.
Insightful Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present real-time financial reports for internal management, including monthly business reviews and portfolio analyses.
- Oversee external financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Cost Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Develop strategies for cost allocation and reduction, ensuring resource efficiency across departments.
- Support finance and administration during the startup of new customer contracts or projects.
Strategic Performance Management:
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align all business functions with strategic goals.
Cash Flow Management:
- Manage and improve cash flow through optimizing processes like order-to-cash (OTC) and procure-to-pay (PTP).
- Balance accounts receivable and payable for enhanced cash conversion.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work cross-functionally with HR, procurement, and operations to align financial strategies with business needs.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial teams.
Profile
We are looking for a motivated, strategic thinker with a solid financial background and a passion for the food services industry. Key qualifications include:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a finance or business analysis role, preferably within the food or services sector.
- Proven experience managing P&L, forecasting, and budgeting.
Skills:
- Strong analytical abilities, with experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proven leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to coach and mentor non-financial managers.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a solid understanding of ERP software.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and best practices in finance.
Soft Skills:
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- High emotional intelligence, particularly in conflict resolution and managing financial-operations trade-offs.
- Adaptable, with the flexibility to respond to changing priorities and industry challenges.
