We are looking for new people to work as crew members for a prestigious museum.

This permanent exhibition is located in Etterbeek (Brussels) and guides visitors through an overview of European history - Available in all 24 official languages of the European Union, free admission and customized resources will be available for schools, families and groups.

Hired candidates will receive shifts based on client needs: so this is not a full-time job, nor is there a guaranteed 20 hours per week. We seek candidates available 3 to 4 days a week, including weekends.

Job description

What are your tasks as a crew member?



There are positions with a rotation system & different degrees of responsibility:


  • Information desk: contact with visitors, providing information, feedback forms, found objects.
  • Locker and hangers: management of public lockers and hangers, escorting visitors, collecting items left behind at the end of the day
  • Tablets: prepare and distribute tablets to visitors, give full explanations, update devices, recover tablets, clean and charge them
  • Floor positions: making rounds around the fair to keep an eye on the fair and guide visitors, provide information and ensure good daily flow.

Profile

What profile are we looking for?

  • Langues: Fluent in English, fluent in french/ dutch or german and fluent in a third European language.
  • min. 18 years
  • Flexible: weekdays, weekends, holidays
  • Open to a part-time
  • Availability: 3 days a week + during weekends so you can take one of the shifts
  • Punctual
  • Polite, helpful, accurate, dynamic, polyvalent
  • Stress resistant and able to deal with conflict situations
  • Customer oriented - Visitor comes first.
  • Must love interacting with diverse visitors: various nationalities,  groups, backgrounds, visitors with disabilities,...
