Design Engineer (m/f/x)
Job description
Do you want to play a crucial role and have an impact on developing design for E-Axle project in Europe? Then, you are ready to join our Powertrain Business Development team as a Design Engineer!
Your mission will be to ensure that the vehicle components are designed efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while meeting performance criteria and regulatory requirements.
What will you work on?
- Integrate AISIN e-axle design team and apply AISIN development steps toward e-axle freeze (methodology, criteria and so on).
- Support AISIN-EUR purchasing team during local supplier’s discussion related to ongoing localisation projects.
- Survey EU e-axle development best practise, technology through symposiums, fair, supplier visit.
- Thanks to the above methodology, asses some of the EU market specificities (EU material, technology) that can bring improvement on AISIN e-axle product (cost reduction, performance increase, sustainability improvement).
- Finally, based on above activity, influence Japan e-axle design & product roadmap to better match EU market expectations.
Profile
MUST HAVE
- Engineering master’s degree in electricity, electronics or electromechanics
- Experience level: 3-5 year experience
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel in Europe & Japan (30%)
NICE TO HAVE
- Japanese language skills
- Knowledge in design tools
