Corporate Continuous Imporvement & Energy Manager
Job description
- You analyze, initiate and manage the implementations of global continuous improvement and energy programs, projects, and initiatives in line with strategic projects defined by the Executive Committee. You ensure that the impact of the projects is sustainable in the long term.
- You provide comprehensive reporting to senior management or the Executive Committee, covering aspects such as budget, KPIs, achieved benefits, and training status.
- You are responsible for the multi-site energy certification (ISO 50 001) and developing a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from direct and indirect sources across our facilities.
- You support and coordinate the efforts of continuous improvement coordinators and energy experts in alignment with their direct managers. Moreover, you arrange training sessions for black, green, or yellow belt certifications.
- You continuously update your knowledge and expertise in continuous improvement and energy, while also analyzing opportunities for Oleon.
- You report to the Industrial Director.
Profile
- You hold a master’s degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or a related field along with at least 10 years of hands-on experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- You possess a profound comprehension of continuous improvement principles and lean methodologies.
- You have a black belt or lean six sigma certifications and have experience in implementing energy management systems (ISO 50 001).
- You are fluent in English and a proficiency in French would be an asset.
- You are willing to occasionally travel to various Oleon sites (30%).
