We are currently looking for a Technical Buyer for our client in the railway sector.

Job description
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on technical, quality, and financial criteria.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of purchase contracts to obtain the best prices, delivery times, and payment terms.
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand specific material and equipment needs, ensuring that purchases meet technical standards and specifications.
- Track orders from purchase request to receipt, ensuring deliveries are made on time and meet specifications.
- Stay informed on new technologies, market trends, and product developments to anticipate the company’s needs.
- Manage relationships with current and potential suppliers, developing long-term partnerships.
- Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and product quality with suppliers.
- Prepare reports on purchases, cost savings, and supplier performance for management.
Profile
- Degree in Procurement, Purchasing or Engineering
- Fluent in English
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial or technical environment
- Excellent negotiation skills and strong communication abilities.
- Knowledge of technical specifications and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in office software (Excel, ERP)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents (drawings, specifications).
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
