Job description
In order to minimize the impact of demurrage, the Demurrage Analyst will have to deal with 3 main issues:
- Processing demurrage files relating to the river transport of petroleum and petrochemical products for various entities: analyzing claims, negotiating amounts and recovering debts, creating and following up sales orders;
- Contribute to the reduction of demurrage costs: data collection, feeding of OAL databases, analysis of root causes of waiting times;
- Consolidate demurrage expertise: provide assistance to sales staff and charterers, update training documents and operating procedures.
Profile
As a demurrage analyst, you have the following qualities, skills and knowledge:
- You are fluent in English;
- You have a degree in logistics (bac+3) and/or experience in the field;
- You have a sense of challenge and enjoy taking on new challenges;
- You are results-oriented and cost-conscious;
- You are comfortable with negotiation processes;
- You are autonomous, structured and a team player.
