Technical draftsman woodwork
Job description
- Create and modify technical drawings for custom woodwork projects.
- Develop detailed production plans based on client specifications.
- Convert CAD drawings into CNC-compatible files for machine operations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and production teams to ensure feasibility.
- Optimize material usage and calculate measurements and dimensions.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Identify and resolve technical issues in designs before production.
- Maintain and update technical documentation and drawing archives.
- Support project managers with technical insights and feasibility assessments.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in wood technology or equivalent experience in the field.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with CAD drawings and a passion for working with them.
- Ability to convert CAD drawings into production plans to operate CNC machines after internal training.
- Forward-thinking, engaged, and eager to contribute meaningfully to the company.
- Skilled in working with high-end, custom construction projects.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility for your work.
- Capable of maintaining a clear overview in complex tasks.
