Job description
As a Sous-Chef in Antwerp, you shall:
- Lead the kitchen and set the quality standard.
- Organize and delegate tasks and mise-and-place.
- Train and build an effective team and create the staff schedule.
- Ensure smooth service and good collaboration with the front of house.
- Continuously improve service standards and processes.
- Manage inventory, stock, and orders.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene.
- Oversee the maintenance of the kitchen and equipment.
- Communicate and report regularly to headquarters.
Profile
We are looking for a passionate professional who meets the following criteria:
- At least 5 years of experience in kitchens.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Keen eye for detail and HACCP trained.
- Well-organized with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Fluent in English, French is a plus.
