- You establish a team for the construction of the fibre network and provide the coordination of this team.
- Together with the team, you are responsible for the construction of a fibre ('Fiber to the home') network. You take care of the day-to-day management in terms of staffing, planning and follow-up.
- You manage the budget and are responsible for the P&L.
- You report the progress and problems to the operations manager.
- You take the necessary actions to achieve the objectives.
- You play an important role in stakeholder management.
- You maintain contact in an open and constructive way with the various stakeholders, both within the organization, the client and the cities.
- You are the general point of contact for the city and for the various parties internally and externally.
- You maintain a helicopter overview.
- You measure and report the KPIs applicable to this project.
- You also bear final responsibility for the delivered quality of the works and the documentation of test reports and as-builts.
As Project Manager Fiber Network, we are looking for someone with the following skills:
- You have strong people management skills who is able to motivate and lead a team.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in project management/a leadership role.
- Your experience is built in construction or fibre work.
- You have conviction and negotiation skills to work with various stakeholders.
- You have experience in financial management and budget management.
- You are always cost-conscious and have an eye for efficiency and quality.
- You can deal with a diverse group of stakeholders (city councils, police services, residents, the client).
- You are fluent in the use of various reporting tools and software (e.g. PowerBi, Excel, etc.).
- Ideally, you have a strong knowledge of French or Dutch.
