QHSE GROUP MANAGER
Job description
This position is very challenging and will require you to travel between Belgium & Amsterdam regularly.
- Formulating and implementing robust QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Overseeing risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement, fostering a proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental management.
- Providing leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in QHSE performance.
- Monitoring and analyzing QHSE data and metrics to track progress, identify trends, and drive targeted initiatives to enhance safety and environmental sustainability.
- Engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization through effective communication and training initiatives, empowering employees to actively contribute to QHSE objectives and initiatives.
Profile
- Up to 25 years of cumulated experience.
- You have a Prevention Advisor Level 1 certificate (mandatory)
- Proficiency in English, French & Dutch.
- You have a solid engineering background in an industrial environment (preference for a chemical engineer background)
- You are experienced in managing teams of people or departments
- You are someone unafraid to roll up sleeves and tackle challenges head-on."
