Job description
Equans is looking for an Energy Efficiency Engineer to strengthen its teams.
Your responsibilities
Your responsibilities
- carry out quickscans and energy audits of buildings and HVAC installations
- work closely with the specialized technical teams of Equans to optimize installations. In this context, you propose the best solutions to save energy
- perform periodic energy monitoring of these installations and establish energy performance reports
- design energy monitoring installations for optimal monitoring
- identify deviations and malfunctions
- ensure regular communication with clients
- participate in technical studies as part of energy performance contracts (EPC contracts)
- you attend both team meetings and construction site meetings
- safety and quality are priorities for you
Profile
Are you our future colleague?
- industrial/civil engineer - electromechanical or civil construction/architect engineer
- have an excellent knowledge of buildings (construction techniques, envelope and technical installations - Renewables, HVAC, Electricity)
- be able to identify improvement measures for building envelope (insulation, construction nodes, air tightness)
- must have knowledge of building thermics and electricity and capable of calculating the savings related to a proposed improvement
- strong experience in building techniques (architecture, HVAC, monitoring, regulation), is a plus
- good knowledge of regulations and standards related to the energy performance of buildings in one of the 3 regions (EPB), is a plus
- be very comfortable with computer tools, especially Excel or Python
- be able to analyze data and synthesize it
- be able to write a quality study report and present it to the client
- be open to innovation
- be able to listen to the client and understand their needs
- be autonomous but with a good team spirit, willing to share their skills with colleagues
- knowledge of French and Dutch, is a plus
