Functieomschrijving
The Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to achieve efficiency, quality, and cost reduction goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and optimise resource allocation.
- Manage procurement processes, including tenders, purchases, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and continuity of activities.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising costs.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Profiel
The Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager has the following profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience in procurement and logistics.
- Extensive knowledge of tendering procedures, procurement processes, and negotiation techniques.
- Strong understanding of international logistics, quality processes, and distribution.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and relevant software.
- Excellent communication skills in French and/or Dutch, and English.
