Ready to take the helm?
- you plan, organize, lead, coordinate, and control all projects and related business activities within the section scope
- you aim to achieve objectives in commercial, customer relationship, project implementation, financial turnover, budget, profit, and resource management
- you manage projects from the tendering phase to final invoicing
- you lead and coach your team of Deputy Project Managers, project engineers, experts, and technicians from an operational perspective
- you ensure adherence to safety, security, and quality standards
- you negotiate with clients and partners, in cooperation with the Legal Department and Tendering
- you negotiate with subcontractors for the delivery of goods and services, in cooperation with the Purchase Department
- you report regularly to the Section Manager on activities and results, and collaborate with Project Managers from other themes
Profile
- an engineering degree in mechanics, chemistry, electromechanics, or a commercial diploma (or equivalent experience)
- relevant experience in a nuclear environment is a plus
- good knowledge of mechanical concepts, with applications in the nuclear sector being a plus
- general knowledge of nuclear, radioprotection, chemistry, electricity, electromechanics, automation, and hydraulics
- good affinity with IT and office tools
- strong time management skills for prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently in fast-paced environments
- risk management abilities for identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
- budget, performance, and result-oriented mindset
- excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
- problem-solving skills for identifying complex problems and developing effective solutions
- analytical and strategic thinking to support critical and strategic project execution plans
- excellent interpersonal skills, rigor, and organizational prowess
- fluency in French and English is mandatory; Dutch and German are a plus
