As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions, including servers, networking, firewalls, and databases,
• Utilize your Azure expertise to ensure seamless cloud integrations and optimization,
• Leverage knowledge of other cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud) to build a scalable multi-cloud environment,
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to streamline cloud resource management,
• Apply DevOps practices for enhanced collaboration between development and operations, ensuring CI/CD efficiency,
• Monitor and manage cloud costs to optimize resources,
• Secure cloud infrastructure by adhering to compliance standards and best practices,
• Optimize performance to align with business needs and efficiency goals,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution,
• Maintain detailed documentation and provide training to team members.

You are a great fit for the role if you have:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus),
• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure setup and management,
• Expertise in Azure and familiarity with at least one other provider (AWS, Google Cloud),
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools and DevOps practices, including CI/CD,
• Demonstrated ability to manage cloud costs effectively,
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills,
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance,
• The ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud,
• Dutch language skills (English is required),
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
