Description/Role:

The Product Owner (PO) in the Digital Engagement Tribe is a servant leader responsible for setting clear objectives for the team and helping them achieve these goals. The PO leads a platform team focused on creating and maintaining internal services, simplifying development processes, and enabling other teams to deliver their work more efficiently. This role involves close alignment with digital and technical architecture teams to support the delivery and modernization of software.

Responsibilities:

? Lead a platform team to create and maintain internal services.

? Simplify development processes and enable other teams.

? Prioritize tasks and remove impediments to ensure smooth workflow.

? Align with stakeholders across the organization and prepare for Quarterly Business Reviews.

? Accelerate digital software development and improve time-to-market (T2M) and quality.

? Increase team autonomy by breaking down large software monoliths using JAVA Backend For Frontend (BFF) patterns and Angular Micro-Frontends.

? Support other digital teams in their software modernization journey.

Requirements & Qualifications:

? Experience working with software development teams in a large organization.

? Familiarity with team topologies and platform teams.

? Experience with JAVA teams and frontend teams, preferably with Backend For Frontend patterns.

? Affinity with technical topics in front-end and back-end development.

? Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

? Expertise in agile software delivery, from requirements/user stories to delivered code and customer value.

? Management skills, including managing processes, projects, and employees.

? Ability to execute a strategic product vision and refine it with business and technical stakeholders.

? Capability to navigate in a high-complexity and high-pressure environment.

? Agile mindset, fostering an inspect-and-adapt approach with regular sprint reviews.

? Decision-making skills in a complex agile environment, particularly regarding Product Backlog and prioritization.
