Robert Half is currently seeking an Experienced General Ledger Accountant (M/F/X/) for a fixed-term contract with an international company in the luxury sector.
The company is located in the center of Brussels.
General Ledger Accountant
Job description
As a General Ledger Accountant (M/F/X), you will collaborate with different countries to ensure accurate accounting records in all areas. Your responsibilities will include:
- conducting sales and bank reconciliations;
- managing intercompany transactions;
- handling accounts payable, taxes, and expense notes;
- preparing VAT declarations and intrastat reports;
- performing monthly and annual closings for the EMEA zone;
- monitoring fixed assets;
- completing ad-hoc tasks and reports as needed.

Profile
The ideal candidate for this position as a General Ledger Accountant (M/F/X/) has:
- a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting;
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role;
- excellent command of English and French or English and Dutch;
- strong proficiency in Excel;
- exceptional time management and interpersonal skills;
- a detail-oriented mindset and a desire to work in an international environment.
