Our partner is Belgium's high-voltage electricity transmission system operator. Based in Brussels, they are looking for a designer service HV
The High Voltage (HV) Service Designer draws up plans and associated documents during the preliminary study and design phase for the construction of new HV installations or the modification of existing HV installations.

Job description
- Performance of feasibility study and preliminary study in collaboration with the Project Leader
- Preparation of permit plans (plans required for permit applications)
- Preparation of execution plans (preparation of implantation plans, equipment plans and plans of steel structures)
- Preparation of related documents: plans list, clamps list, steel construction list
- Ad-hoc support to the Project Leader during execution works
- Problem solving thinking and execution of the tasks is done with the necessary pro activity.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering, mechanical
- Basic knowledge of electricity is a plus but not a requirement
- Very good understanding of Dutch
- Knowledge of the MS Office package and experience with a CAD software (3D)
- Fluent assertive communicator who is customer-oriented, values team spirit and is resourceful

- At least a basic knowledge of electricity

- Fluent assertive communicator who is customer-oriented, values team spirit and is resourceful.
- Perfect command of Dutch or French, knowledge of the 2nd national language is an asset, willingness to develop this further.
- Most of the projects are in Flanders. A good knowledge of Dutch is therefore important. Bilingualism is a plus.
