Job description
As a Traffic Coordinator, you are responsible for the smooth execution of all shipments while ensuring compliance with customs regulations and applicable laws. You play a key role in optimizing processes and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders. You are part of the "Operations" department and report directly to the Master Planner.

- You manage the proper execution of all shipments to clients, suppliers, and other sites, coordinating the entire process from A to Z.
- You ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to import and export, including customs formalities.
- You maintain regular contact with authorities, customs services, and transport companies.
- You apply contractual Incoterms and select the most cost-effective and appropriate transport modes (road, air, sea).
- You keep all necessary data up to date in the ERP system.
- You prepare and analyze reports to monitor the performance of shipping processes.
- You work closely with the commercial, project, and logistics teams to ensure compliant and optimal solutions.
- You actively participate in continuous improvement projects and the optimization of existing processes.
- You stay informed about industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Profile
- You have significant experience in coordinating logistics operations related to road, sea, rail, and/or air transport.
- You are familiar with customs formalities within the EU and internationally.
- You are proficient in managing import and export licenses. Specific experience with classified military or dual-use goods is a strong asset.
- You are fluent in French and have a very good command of English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You have proven experience using ERP systems and Excel.
- You are proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.
- You are based in Mouscron but are open to working 1 to 2 days per week in Ostend.
